When our founder was inspired to create Aurora House, the original logo she created symbolized the coming together of dedicated people who helped develop and literally build this house and organization. The graphic represented the beams of light seen in the Aurora Borealis and the “beams”, or supports, needed to make Aurora House a reality. Those beams included groups of people focused on fundraising, construction, and volunteers, to name a few.
As we move into our second decade of serving our community, our new logo represents the fulfillment of that initial work and the emphasis on the next chapter of the organization’s growth: ongoing commitment to end of life care and a new focus on support for the grieving.
The phenomenon that is Aurora House is often summed up in one single phrase, “Our volunteers are the heart of our home.”
Our new logo speaks this truth to all who see it.
